Destination Spotlight: Yellowstone National Park

Imagine yourself hiking the trails of Yellowstone National Park. Erupting geysers and thundering waterfalls force you to stand in awe of Mother Nature’s beauty. Seeing breathtaking sights of bears, wolves, and bison roaming in their natural habitat is a once in a lifetime experience. Yellowstone has one of the earth’s most active hydrothermal systems. The world famous attraction of Old Faithful erupts every 60 to 100 minutes shooting water as high as 180 feet into the air! Gorgeous colors of orange, yellow, green, and blue can be seen in the water of the Grand Prismatic hot spring. See the rushing waterfalls in the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.  The lower falls are 308 feet tall and the hiking trails allow you to get up close and see the stunning views.

Within the park, animals are thriving in their natural habitat. There are over 4,500 bison, 300 wolves, and 150 grizzly bears that call Yellowstone their home. Bird watching is also popular activity in the park. There are 300 species of birds including bald eagles, falcons, and hawks. This national park also offers many diverse outdoor activities including–ranger-led tours, rafting, camping, fishing and more! Yellowstone truly has indescribable beauty so you will have to come see for yourself geysers erupting, bears roaming, and breath taking waterfalls at Yellowstone National Park.
