Days One through Three — Travel to Saint Augustine, Florida With overnights in Tennessee and Georgia we begin to “Feel the Warmth” as we journey south, with an included welcome dinner along the way. America’s oldest city, Saint Augustine is a unique city filled with colonial Spanish neighborhoods, magnificent buildings and a charm all its own. We board the Victory III for a relaxing cruise of Matanzas Bay. Hear tales of early days, pass below the unique Bridge of Lions and see the impressive Castillo de San Marcos, the Spanish fortress which dominates the shoreline. Included dining is at The Reef Restaurant, complete with fantastic food and water views. 2 Dinners and 2 breakfasts Day Four — Trolley Tour of Saint Augustine and Lunch at Columbia Restaurant A narrated trolley tour of historic Saint Augustine highlights the city’s exciting past. See the Fernando-Lambias House, built in 1763 and the Florida Heritage Museum whose collection brings over 400 years of Florida’s history to life. We’ll also enjoy lunch at the historic Columbia Restaurant, an exquisite restaurant featuring marvelous Spanish cuisine. The remainder of the day is at leisure to enjoy this fun and beautiful city. Breakfast and lunch Day Five — Marineland of Florida and Daytona International Speedway On the “Treasure Coast” today we stop at Marineland of Florida where we embark on a “Behind the Seas” tour for a closer view of the dolphins living here. Then, we continue to Daytona Beach to visit the Daytona International Speedway where we take a guided tram tour including the garage area and pit road. Later, we continue to West Palm Beach. Breakfast and dinner Day Six — West Palm Beach and Henry Flagler-Whitehall Mansion We begin the day with a visit to Henry Morrison Flagler’s Whitehall Mansion, the home of Florida’s famous oil tycoon. In 1902, the New York Herald described Whitehall Mansion as, “More wonderful than any palace in Europe, grander and more magnificent than any other private dwelling in the world.” Learn about Flagler’s role in the development of Florida’s railroad industry. We also enjoy “Tea” in the beautiful Café des Beaux-Arts in the Flagler Kenan Pavilion. This Gilded Age style lunch features a selection of gourmet tea sandwiches, traditional scones and sweets complimented by the museum’s own Whitehall Special Blend tea. Breakfast and lunch Day Seven — Arrive in Florida’s Keys Our exciting adventure brings us to the Keys, a tropical island chain jutting out into the warm Caribbean. Our hotel and included dinner await in Marathon. Breakfast and dinner Day Eight — Key West Trolley Tour and Free Time Today we travel to Key West and embark on a narrated trolley tour. Hear stories of the success and disaster of Henry Flagler’s Railroad. Turn back the pages of history to the days of Indians, pirates, ship wreckers and the Civil War, and make a stop at the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum for a tour of his former residence and present day home to over 50 cats! Enjoy your free time in Key West with its banyan trees and 19th-century gingerbread houses. Breakfast and lunch Day Nine — Enjoy the Keys at Leisure Today is free for you to relax and take in the warmth of the Keys. Breakfast Day Ten — Babcock Ranch and Telegraph Cypress Swamp Eco-Tour Today we travel through Everglades National Park along “Alligator Alley” highway. At Babcock Wilderness Adventures we embark on an Eco-Tour aboard a specially-designed “buggy” through Babcock Ranch and Telegraph Cypress Swamp. Our experienced guide offers in-depth descriptions of the birds, native flora and fauna, alligators and many other exotic wildlife in their natural habitat. Later, we arrive in the quaint town of Punta Gorda, our home for the next 2 nights Breakfast and dinner Day Eleven — Day at Leisure in Punta Gorda Today is yours to relax and enjoy Punta Gorda with its beautifully restored historic district, waterside shopping and Harborwalk at Fisherman’s Village. Breakfast Days Twelve through Fourteen — Journey Home Overnights in Georgia and Tennessee bring us home with the warm memories of our adventure to Florida’s Keys. 2 Breakfasts and dinner
